FABULOUS FACULTY

Wendy Miller

Miss Wendy, Owner and Director, was a Moving Company dancer for 15 years. She is a graduate of Otterbein University where she studied English, education, and dance, and was also a cheerleader. Wendy is a certified member of Dance Masters of America and Ohio Dance Masters, and is a mUvmethod level 1 certified teacher. She has choreographed for area high school musicals and cheerleading squads. Her dance competition team has won many awards, including national championship first overall production number. Wendy and her husband Michael have two sons.

Lindsey Sturzinger

Miss Lindsey is a former Moving Company dancer who danced professionally for several years. She has performed on stages from Los Angeles to Atlantic City, at Disney, on a cruise ship, in Aruba, Japan, and China. She was also a Radio City Rockette. Since returning home, Lindsey has choreographed for area high school musicals and now works at Hartung Title. She and her husband Ted have one daughter and two sons.

Lisa Hartung

Miss Lisa began teaching at The Moving Company in 2004. She is originally from the Detroit area, where she grew up dancing and then taught dance for seven years. She has performed in Las Vegas, Guam, and Mexico, and was also a Radio City Rockette. She now works at Hartung Title. Lisa and her husband Jason have one daughter and one son.

Rebecca Criswell

Miss Becky is a former Moving Company dancer who was awarded many scholarships and high scores at regional and national competitions. She is a graduate of The University of Akron, where she studied dance and sociology. Now, Becky is the Erie County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services and Support Administrator. She and her husband Mike have two sons and one daughter.

Brooke Marsinick

Miss Brooke is a former Moving Company student. She was a competitive dancer, gymnast, and cheerleader. She graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in early childhood education. Brooke went on to earn her Master's Degree in Business and is now a second grade teacher at Perkins Local School District. She and her husband Jacob have two daughters and one son.

Kayla Jeffrey

Miss Kayla was a Moving Company dancer for 15 years, and a cheerleader. She is a mUvmethod level 1 certified teacher. Kayla attended Bowling Green State University and now works at Sandusky Dental Partners. She and her husband Greg have one son and one daughter.

Emily Cutler

Miss Emily is a former Moving Company dancer and a graduate of Ashland University. She majored in middle childhood education and was a captain on the Eagles' dance and cheer teams. Emily is now a fourth grade teacher at Perkins Local School District, a choreographer for area high school musicals, and a coach for cheerleading, track, and cross country.

Emily Windisch

Miss Emily was a Moving Company dancer for 15 years, and a cheerleader. She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University, where she majored in psychology and minored in dance. She then attended The Ohio State University to earn her Master's Degree in Human Resources. Emily is now an HR manager at Family Health Services. She and her husband Dane have one daughter.

Lexi Hartung

Miss Lexi is a former Moving Company dancer who graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2022. She went on to teach at The University of Akron Dance Institute. Since then, she has continued performing, choreographing, and teaching dance. She is an elementary dance teacher at Lorain City Schools, and a cheerleading coach.

DaVette Weibel

Miss DaVette is originally from Akron, where she was a competitive dancer for 10 years. She attended the University of the Arts, where she studied musical theatre and minored in dance. She has performed at Cedar Point, on cruise ships, and in the Rock of Ages national Broadway tour. She is now a productivity life coach with Productive as a Mother. DaVette and her husband Kevin have two daughters and one son.

 

Emma Sturzinger

Miss Emma is a former Moving Company dancer who was awarded many scholarships and high scores at regional and national competitions. She is currently attending Bowling Green State University, majoring in early childhood education.

Meghan Kishman

Miss Meghan was raised in the Greater Washington D.C. area and trained as a gymnast, cheerleader, and competitive dancer for over 14 years. She attended BGSU, training and performing as a member of their collegiate dance team. Meghan has a Master's degree in education and has coached high school cheer teams and recreational gymnastics. She and her husband Paul have two daughters.
